ECO warriors turned their school’s environmental garden into a green paradise.
Pupils created a new flower bed at Kingsfield Primary School in Chatteris using home-made compost to improve the quality of the soil.
Parents also joined in planting native flowers to grow during the summer and put plants into the school’s pond.
The school is bidding for a bronze Eco School award to burnish its environmental credentials.
Karen Edgley, from the school, said: “The work completed in the environmental garden will contribute towards improving biodiversity at the school.”
