Chatteris tea room raffle raises more than 150 for the Salvation Army

GLORIA and Tina Prior from The Old Bakery Tea-Room in Chatteris presented a cheque of 153 to Captain Jonathan Wylie of the Chatteris Salvation Army.

The tea room held a Christmas Raffle with 22 prizes in total to raise funds for the organisation.

Tina Prior said: “He was thrilled with the donation and said it would hopefully be added to the community fund, which can be used to put together food parcels for those in need of a little extra help.

“The Old Bakery would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and everyone who bought tickets, helping us to raise the money to donate to a very worthwhile organisation.”
