HUNDREDS of visitors packed into St Andrew’s Church in Sutton over the weekend, to attend the village’s sixth annual beer festival.
Sixteen ales were on sale, along with a variety of ciders, and by the end of the three day event, the beer fans had drunk more than 1,000 pints of beer and 200 pints of cider - leaving some of the barrels dry.
Organiser Phil Bambrick said: “We were delighted with the huge support we received, we had a terrific weekend, with great ales, home coooked food and some great music.
“I would like to thank everyone who supported the event that has raised much needed funds for our church.”
The festival ran from Thursday to Saturday, with a different band playing to the crowd each night. On Saturday afternoon, a family session included a bouncy castle and barbecue.
