A MONSTER cheque for �13,018.19 has been presented to Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of March businessman David Dobson.
It was the proceeds of a hugely successful fund raising garden party organised by his family earlier this summer.
Mr Dobson died last year from a rare form of cancer, and was keen that his family raise both awareness and money for the charity.
After the party held at the family home, daughter Claire said: “We want to thank everyone who came along and supported us as a family and for the level of support for dad and the charity.”
