CHILDREN and staff from a March primary school have made a once in a lifetime journey to visit the Pope.
Four children and two staff from All Saints Interchurch VA Primary School went to see the Pope at the Big Assembly at St. Mary’s College Twickenham.
The lucky visitors were part of an audience of around 3000 children from all over the country.
Rachel Beeson, Headteacher at All Saints, said: “It was a very exciting and memorable day.
“We all felt as though we were part of history being made, and that it was a once in a lifetime experience.
“The children all received souvenir back packs to remind them of their experience.”
