Children and staff at Clarence House day nursery in Chatteris dressed up as their favourite characters to celebrate World Book Day today.

“There was a wide variety of outfits,” said manager Lee-Ann Watson.

“The characters ranged from Little Red Riding Hood to The Witch from ‘Room on the Broom’.

The children have been taking part in various activities relating to books and reading throughout the week.
