Groups of Chatteris school children joined together for a choral concert to mark Christmas time last week.
Reverend Wendy Thomson welcomed students, staff and families from Cromwell Community College, Glebelands and Kingsfield to St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church for the event.
The concert included a massed choir and orchestra lead by Cromwell’s head of music - Corinna Gawthrop.
The students had been practicing hard in the weeks leading up to the concert and joined forces to sing carols and Christmas songs.
Other items in the programme included a rendition of ‘Silent Night’ by Glebelands’ Bell Ringers, arranged by music teacher - Helen Reece, and readings including a poem written by a talented Cromwell student - Connie Snow.
