Children’s author Julian Sedgwick visited Cromwell Community College in Chatteris to encourage wider reading and talk about his career as a writer.
Talking to Year 7 students, he spoke about his childhood, wanting to become a high wire walker, fire eater and special agent before becoming a children’s author.
Julian read to the group from his first book of his ‘Ghosts of Shanghai’ trilogy. He ended his performance with a knife juggling act in front of 240 Year 7 students.
