THE morning family carol service at the Methodist Church on Christmas Eve was conducted by the Rev Denise Hague. The Christmas story was told through a video entitled 'It's a Boy' operated by Deborah Church. A solo, 'The Birthday of the King', was sung by Isobel Peters. Steward was Sarah-Jane Knight and organist Doreen Diggle. At the 11.30pm service, also con ducted by the Rev Hague, members were joined by friends from St James, Marshland, and Emneth churches and many local friends. Lessons were read by the Rev Neil Harper of King's Lynn who also sang a solo 'O, Holy Night'. Holy Communion was celebrated at midnight conducted jointly by the Rev Hague and the Rev Harper. Organist was Pauline Beeken and steward Roger Peters. Floral decoration was provided by Betty Hones.
