Nearly 400 students at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris helped to raise £400 for Save The Children by taking part in a Christmas jumper day.

The fundraiser, was organised by teaching assistant Claire Kirby, who said: “It’s always great fun spotting so many unusual and different jumpers.”

Jackie Harding, learning resource centre manager, added: “It gave everybody the festive buzz for the last day of term.

“We’ve don’t it in the past, and this was the third year. It’s something that everybody can take part in without too much fuss.”
