Clarence House Day Nursery in Chatteris said goodbye to its ‘Class of 2017’ with a week full of activities.
The week consisted of a police visit, graduation party and a Zoolab visit as well as a graduation ceremony on Saturday.
“The graduation ceremony was a huge hit with families and we had many attend to see their children graduate,” said manager Lee-Ann Watson.
“The children really enjoyed the police visit, they got to press the button to make the sirens sound and pretend to drive the car.
“When Zoolab came to visit, the children saw various animals that they could hold and look at including a snake, tarantula, ghecko and frog.
“The graduation party was for all the other children within the nursery to say goodbye to the school leavers by playing lots of party games and eating party food. The theme was ‘Superheroes’.
“The whole week has been wonderful and a great success. This was the first year we have organised a graduation ceremony on a Saturday but it proved very popular. We all wish the school leavers and their families the best of luck for the future.”
