A MARCH woman has alleged that her admittance to a local night club depends on how drunk the owner is.
When the owner of Raffles night spot is sober, Debra Rayner is allowed into the premises at the Griffin Hotel, March.
But after he has had a few drinks, door staff eject her, she told Fenland magistrates on Tuesday.
"Basically I don't know where I am," said Rayner, after admitting she was drunk and disorderly at Raffles earlier this month.
"The bouncers say this has been going on for some weeks. One minute they let me in, and another minute they won't," she said.
The court heard how 44-year-old Rayner kicked manager Andrew Woollard when she was turned out of the club at 10pm on September 2. She connected with his glasses, and he received a slight cut on his face.
Rayner's daughter was called because she has a calming influence on her mother, said prosecutor Andrew Williams.
Rayner, of Elwyn Court, March, resisted police and had to be forcibly handcuffed. She kicked out when searched, and an officer received a blow to the leg.
Representing herself in court, Rayner explained: "I just lost it." She said she had booked her wedding reception at the venue, and wanted to apologise for her behaviour.
"It is distressing to see you before this court for this sort of behaviour again," said presiding magistrate Michael Woods.
Rayner was fined £75 with £55 costs.
