THE monthly coffee morning in the Methodist Schoolroom raised £145. Visitors were welcomed by the new Methodist Minister, the Rev Denise Haigh. A stall for the Parish Church was manned by Glynis and Emily Russell and Daphne Askew. Helpers were Kenneth and Helen Wilson, Veronica Nelson, Roger, Fiona and Isobel Peters, Josie Wing, Jean Brandle and Doreen Diggle. Later the Rev Haigh entertained her friends and family from Leicester and members of various churches in the Wisbech Methodist Circuit to a buffet tea and fellowship prior to the official welcome service in the evening held at St James, Marshland Methodist Church.
