THERE were collections of everything from paper weights to trains when Christchurch Parish Church held its annual flower festival.
A theme of ‘Collectables’ led to 31 inspired floral displays from individuals and organisations. The village pre-school used Hornby trains for its arrangement and the Townley School display was called Peter Rabbit and Friends.
Other collections included dolls, pens, bookmarks, owls and pigs.
During the weekend light refreshments and cream teas were served to the many visitors and money raised will go towards the church fabric fund.
