The College of West Anglia is the latest sponsor of the prestigious Fenland Business Awards.

They are sponsoring the Medium Business of the Year category and this year the winner will be chosen from one of three finalists: Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland; Lawgistics Ltd and Hugh Crane Ltd.

The College of West Anglia is one of the largest providers of education and training in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

We have an exceptional track record in developing the skills and talents of our students and our courses are focused on getting you prepared for work or university.

We have four campuses - King’s Lynn, Wisbech and Cambridge, and a specialist sports campus in King’s Lynn, offering state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and learning.

Our student success rate for full-time courses is 84%, above the national average of 80% and 92% of all students passed their exams (2013/14); we are also a highly successful provider of apprenticeships, with 78% of our apprentices achieving their apprenticeship programme, well above the national average of 69%.

Each academic year, we educate over 10,000 full-time and part-time students, across a wide range of vocational and academic fields. In addition to apprenticeships, full-time and part-time courses, we also offer bespoke training for local businesses through our CWA Training division, and higher education courses, run in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University.

The awards are in place to celebrate and recognise blossoming and established companies in Fenland that continue to thrive in their business.

The awards ceremony this year will take Friday September 23 at the Braza Club where the cream of the crop of Fenland businesses will be welcomed to an evening of glitz and glamour.
