During their visit to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre in East Kirkby, students and staff also presented a cheque for £1320.30 to Paul Hewson, who is the regional director for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

The money was raised through a number of events, including a swimming, cycling and running event at Wisbech, which took them to the equivalent of going to Paris.
