Children at Clarence House Day Nurseries, March celebrated with a Rio carnival-themed graduation day on Friday.
Wearing bright colours and headdresses, the event was held to celebrate the children’s time at nursery before heading off to school in September.
The children played lots of games – pass the parcel, musical statues and hit the piñata. They had their faces painted throughout the day and were transformed into roaring tigers and beautiful butterflies by one of the staff members.
“It was a lovely afternoon and the children had lots of fun,” said deputy manager Lucy Howard.
“It will be sad to see them go to school in September but good to see how well they have progressed in our care.”
