In view of the huge success of last year's fair when about 3,000 people attended, the community association committee is already making plans for this summer's event, on Sunday, July 15, at St Clement's High School .

The committee is arranging live music, a funfair, classic and novelty cars and bikes, football tournament, dog show, craft stalls, car boot and various demonstrations and performances.

Anyone with any ideas or activities should get in touch.

An appeal again goes out to local businesses to sponsor the day or a particular event and anyone interested in being a steward should get in touch.

The committee is also asking for ideas on a theme for the event, which could be something associated with the village, town, county or perhaps even a national craze/event.
