WORKSHOPS are being held in March Library, giving an introduction to using the internet.They also cover e-mailing, desktop publishing, creating a database and using a digital camera.The workshops, which are tutor-led sessions, last between two and three hours and cost £20-£30.They come hot on the heels of a series of successful hi-tech taster sessions run at library learning centres throughout Cambridgeshire.A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesman said: "During February and March, the workshops will offer a range of learning opportunities for computer users of all abilities."Library Learning Centres also offer a wide range of Learndirect courses ranging from IT skills, brushing up on reading, writing and number skills or courses designed to help with work-related needs such as customer services or financial skills."Qualifications in IT such as European computer driving licence or CLAIT and the National Certificates in Literacy and Numeracy are also available."For information about the courses, which are also available at Whittlesey Library, call 0845 045 5225.
