Concrete blocks that had fallen off of a 40 tonne lorry led to a road closure near Pondersbridge this morning.
The A605 junction with the B1095 in Whittlesey was closed due to the incident which happened at around 7.15am.
The road was reopened at 10.40am.
A police spokesman said: “The trailer on a 40 tonne lorry snapped and breezeblocks fell onto the road.”
