The new Bramley’s coffee shop team at Meadowgate special school are cooking up a storm thanks to the donation of a microwave from Curry’s electrical store in Wisbech.
The oven complements the newly opened facilities at the school where an exciting vocationally based curriculum is being developed for their final year students.
Emma Bird, sixth form coordinator and head of vocational studies, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our students and we are very grateful for the support shown to us by local employers.
Bramley’s serves a freshly prepared breakfast and lunch menu to the staff and invited guests at the school.
All food is prepared and served by the Bramley’s catering students.
Other courses include mechanics and horticulture.
