A THREE-DAY craft festival at St Peter’s Church, March, raised �1598 for the church’s roof appeal.
On the first day of the event the church played host to a children’s craft activity afternoon with lots of youngsters calling in after school. They were able to try out a variety of activities with cake decorating, sand art and decorating notebooks proving the most popular.
The following day saw a craft fayre with 24 stalls selling a wide range of items including jewellery, cards, pictures, knitted garments and fabric crafts.
During the afternoon of the final day there was a craft and music afternoon with lace making demonstrations and music from the Variante Ensemble.
