Firefighters battled for nearly three hours to put out a house fire last night.
At about 9pm, one crew from Whittlesey and one crew from Stanground were called to a fire on Drybread Road in Whittlesey.
The fire, which was caused accidentally, was extinguished using a hose reel and a jet.
A woman in her 30s was treated by an East of England Ambulance crew at the scene but she did not require hospital treatment. The crews returned to their stations by 11.50pm.
