Firefighters tackled a woodland fire in Benwick yesterday.
A crew from Ramsey and a water carrier from Yaxley were called to a fire on Chase Road, Benwick, at 10.55 am.
They found a 12 metre by 12 metre area of peat on fire in some woodland and extinguished it using a jet.
The crews returned to their stations by 3pm.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
