Two sixth form students from Cromwell Community College are celebrating being offered places at Oxford and Cambridge University.
Isaac Smy and Ellen Garrett were congratulated by Heather Paul, acting head of sixth form studies, for their dedication and hard work.
She said that it is “phenomenal” they had offers from both universities.
Ellen will study law at Robinson College, Cambridge, whilst Isaac will read history at Oriel College, Oxford.
Principal Jane Horn said: “The selection processes for these Universities are incredibly challenging so it is fantastic to see that two of our students have managed to receive offers.
“Isaac and Ellen have such an exciting opportunity ahead of them and it is wonderful to see that their hard work and dedication has been recognised.
