Three Cromwell Community College students banded together to raise more than £165 for a charity which supports people with learning disabilities.
Caitlin Clark, Georgina Dale and Shannon Buckton organised a car wash and a guess the person from their baby photo competition. Their efforts brought in £165.25 for FACET.
Jane Clifton, of FACET, said: “The money will go towards our training centre in Mawick Road. “The girls have given us a fantastic boost. It would take quite a few days to raise that kind of money in one of our shops.
“It’s lovely to think young people decided to do this for other people.”
