YOUNGSTERS at a Fenland school raised nearly �1,000 towards a charity that aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.
Students and staff paid �1 each to wear jeans for the day at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris on Friday October 1.
The money raised will go towards the Jeans for Genes charity who encourage organisations to relax their dress code and raise money on their annual Jeans for Genes Day.
Mrs Louise Allen organised the event which goes towards supporting more than 30,000 babies who are born in the UK each year with a genetic disorder.
