The first graduates of the Children’s University at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris celebrated achieving silver and bronze certificates for extra curricular activities.
The graduates are paving the way as the first year students to take part in the university programme which celebrates the achievements of young people outside of lesson time.
To graduate they must put in a certain number of hours at out of school clubs.
Achieving silver for 65 hours was Ella Tilbrook, Lianne Hills and Finley Harper.
Obtaining a bronze level for 30 hours was Sophie Gillet, Sophie Egerton and Lauren Spiers.
They all graduated during their Year 7 assembly today.
Organiser Sarah Monany said: “Pupils took part in activities in clubs like orchestra, Rugby and reading. They are the first students to obtain their awards and we hope it will be the first of many.”
