Talented mathematicians from Cromwell Community College are celebrating after winning a senior maths challenge.
The challenge, which is aimed at all 16 to 19-year-olds studying mathematics, involves answering 25 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes and is sat in school under normal exam conditions.
Ben Milsom was named ‘best in school’, having achieved a merit and been crowned the ‘best in year 13’ as well as awarded a gold certificate.
Dylan Bevan was named ‘best in year 12’ and was awarded with a silver certificate, whilst Jamie Baker, Rebecca Holt and Will Tovey were each awarded silver certificates.
Joshua Doncaster, Holly Davies, Emily Woolfall and Emma Tyler were also given bronze certificates.
