A 95-year-old who raised thousands of pounds for charities across the area has died.

Cyril Snushall has been a life-long fund raiser. He supported charities with the concerts and events he has organised.

Cyril, of Walpole Highway, died peacefully on October 19 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn.

He was a loving husband to the late Dorrie, devoted father of Pauline, a dear grandad of Claire, and a great-grandad of Ellise and Emillia.

His family say he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service is at Mintlyn Crematorium on Tuesday November 6 at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital endoscopy unit.

The King’s Lynn endoscopy unit was last year recognised for its hard work by achieving a nationally accredited status.

Endoscopy is seeing an increase of activity nationally year-on-year due to an increase in demand.

The unit says that many of the patients are referred under the suspected cancer pathway.
