TWO Dachshund-cross type dogs are in the care of RSPCA in Fenland after they were abandoned near the charity’s regional headquarters.
The two dogs were dumped on May 29 at about 8.30pm at the headquarters in Peterborough. They were found running around in a car park and were collected by an officer and taken to Block Fen Animal Centre near Wimblington.
A number of leads are being investigated in relation to this incident, but the RSPCA would like to hear from anyone who may recognise these dogs, or knows who their owner might be.
Inspector Kat Parfitt, said: “We really want to find the owners of these dogs. They are both lovely, so someone must be missing them.
“We would urge anyone who recognises them to contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999.”
The two bitches are between nine and 12 months old and have been called April and May. They are both doing well.
