A rip roaring performance by local dancers helped raise hundreds of pounds for the national charity Shine.
Senior dancers from The Vera Frances School of Dance with the school principal Vera Frances presented a cheque to the charity Shine which supports sufferers of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
The cheque for £1,295.62 was raised by the school’s recent pantomime production of Aladdin and his Magical Lamp, held at the Neale Wade Academy, in March.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of Shine was Cheyenne Graves who works for the charity.
