YOUNGSTERS at a Fenland primary school donned togas as they experienced a day as Ancient Greeks this week.
Burrowmoor Primary School’s Year 5 pupils from March enjoyed a visit from the History Off the Page team. The group are committed to the development of the arts, humanities and science through practical learning, storytelling and drama.
Children said they had an amazing time, tasting different foods that were served by ‘slaves’ and took part in various activities including carving and making mosaics.
