As part of #OurDay – a social media campaign on Twitter – the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) offered a snap shot of their work over a 24 hour period.
"Some of our on-call stations will be on their drill nights tonight. Their first job will be checking the equipment on the fire engine is ready to attend an incident when they are called #OurDay #TeamCambs"
The #OurDay event is a yearly social media campaign to celebrate the diverse work completed by local councils and public bodies on a day-to-day basis.

The event took place last Tuesday (November 21) and the CFRS didn’t miss a minute, documenting every aspect of the day.
