A COUPLE who met while serving in the RAF celebrate their diamond wedding today (Thursday).
Edward and Yvonne Harris, who live in Wisbech, were married at St James’ Church, Plumstead, London, on August 15, 1953.
They have a daughter, Linda Mew, son Paul, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
During their married life Edward and Linda lived in London, Basildon and Crawley. They moved to Wisbech in 1996 when Edward retired from his job as a teacher of electrical engineering.
