A 83 year-old disabled man has had his mobility scooter nicked from his front garden.
John Gray’s scooter was taken from outside his home at Wisbech Road, March, between 9am on Monday and 9am on Tuesday.
The scooter was a royal blue collapsible Shoprider with four small wheels.
Mr Gray, who suffers from leg, hip and back troubles, said: “I got complacent and left it outside my house. I used to take the battery out but I stopped doing it.
“I got on the scooter to get the paper on Monday morning but, when I got up on Tuesday morning to do the same thing, it had gone.
“It’s like taking your legs away, having it removed.”
