Do you know an outstanding young person? Then nominate them for a Whittlesey Young Citizen of the Year award

Young people are being invited to enter the Whittlesey Young Citizen of the Year awards.

The awards celebrate anybody under the age of 18 who has helped in the community, undertaken charity work, fund raised or achieved outstanding results in an area of their life.

The criteria is that you must live in Whittlesey, Coates, Eastrea, Turves or Pondersbridge.

To enter send the person’s name, address and reason for nomination to Susan Evans, clerk to the council, Whittlesey Town Council, Grosvenor House, Grosvenor Road, Whittelesey.

The closing date is Monday February 29.
