An extra care scheme in Doddington is opening its doors to the public for a Macmillan Coffee Morning tomorrow.

Sanctuary Home Care’s Doddington Court, on Benwick Road, is inviting the community in to have a cup of coffee, a chat and raise money for the cancer charity from 10am to 12pm.

During the coffee morning, visitors will have the chance to chat with tenants and residents and learn about life at Doddington Court.

Scheme manager Julie Booker said: “Our tenants and residents are keen to make a difference while meeting the local community.

“We’d welcome anyone in the area to come in for a chat, a coffee and a homemade cake as we raise money for Macmillan.”
