RAINBOWS and Brownies from Doddington took part in two action-packed sleepovers at the Methodist Hall last weekend.
Ten Rainbows slept over on the Friday evening and took part in the “Sweetastic” Challenge, with tasks including skipping with a licorice lace skipping rope and making sweet pictures.
Fifteen Brownies had a Mexican themed sleepover the following evening.
The girls enjoyed a Mexican Hat Dance, cut out paper crafts and bashed piñatas.
Rainbow leader, Charlotte Clarke, said: “The sleepover was a great chance for the girls to get away and enjoy each other’s company in a safe, girl-only space.
“For many of them it was their first overnight experience away from parents.
“All the girls told me how much they enjoyed themselves and they can’t wait to decide where they want to do for their next adventure.”
