A SPECTACULAR sensory room was opened at Doddington Methodist Hall on Friday.

The room has been painted all the colours of the rainbow and filled with sensory toys to help children develop their dexterity, confidence and communication.

Last November, 30 children from Doddington under-5s group took part in a sponsored mile walk which raised £503.70 towards the cost of the room.

To mark their efforts each child was invited to put their handprint on one of the walls.
