A group of dogs was rescued after a field fire in Turves spread to nearby sheds and conifers.
The pets were safely escorted away from the blaze on Turf Drove, which began at around 6.55pm yesterday evening (August 23).
Fire crews from Whittlesey and March tackled the fire which had also spread to a nearby stubble field for over four hours.
The fire was eventually extinguished with the help of a water carrier from Ramsey, and crews returned to their stations at 11.10pm.
It was believed to have been started accidentally.
