Illegal and inconsiderate parking is putting lives at risk, the fire service has warned.
Drivers trying to avoid car park fees, or to save walking, have created bottle necks and areas our large fire engines can’t go, making it difficult to get fire engines to where they are desperately needed.
To highlight the problem, Cambs Fire has created a video.
A Cambs Fire spokesman said: “Getting to an emergency incident is vital, that’s why it’s a criminal offence to obstruct an emergency vehicle attending such an incident.
“Please think about where you’re parking.”
