POLICE have released footage of an armed robbery in Cambridge as part of a re-appeal for further information.
The robbery took place at William Hill bookmaker’s, in Mill Road, at about 9pm on Friday, August 24.
A man walked into the shop, threatened a member of staff with a hammer and made off with a quantity of cash.
It is believed he turned right towards Mill Road Bridge.
Police are particularly keen to trace the hammer or the white hat worn by the robber.
The Association of British Bookmakers has offered a reward of up to �10,000 for information that leads to conviction.
DC Dave Hall, who is investigating, said: “I hope this footage will prompt someone to come forward with the information we need.
“Anyone with any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, should contact police.”
