DRINK driver Martin Robinson's car strayed across the central white line in the road before he was stopped by police in the early hours of the morning.

Robinson, 22, of Mount Pleasant Road, later gave a breath test reading of 46 mcgs(legal limit 35) in 100 mls of blood.

Fenland magistrates banned him from driving for 12 months and fined him £100 with £55 costs when he admitted the offence on Tuesday.

Solicitor Roger Glazebrook said Robinson had consumed a couple of drinks when playing pool with friends.
