A driver who crashed into a telegraph pole in Duxford last Tuesday has died from his injuries.

John Pigg, 59, of Thaxted Road, Saffron Walden, was driving a Kia Rio Domino which left Grange Road, Duxford, and crashed into a telegraph pole at 1.20pm last Tuesday.

Mr Pigg was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but died on Friday.
