Police could not have been better positioned to deal with an accident on Sunday ... it happened right outside March police station.
Officers were called outside at 11.30am after it was reported that a Renault Clio had left the road, colliding with a lamppost and traffic lights in Burrowmoor Road.
The incident caused the lights to turn red every 30 seconds, with Cambridgeshire County Council highways officers called out to rectify the problem.
The crashed car is pictured with its front wheels on the police station's grass forecourt.
