Edith Wade has been raising money for various charities for the last 25 years - by holding annual afternoon teas.
With help from dozens of her friends who help organise the afternoon tea and raffle, all of the money raised this year is going to The Gables, Whittlesey and the Robert Horrell Macmillan Centre, Peterborough.
Mrs Wade, who began preparing scones with cream, jam and strawberries at 8am in the morning, said: “It was a brilliant afternoon. Around 70 of my friends came and we raised £650. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.
“I’ve always raised money but I couldn’t do it without all of the help from my friends”, she added.
