An elderly man was found walking along the A47 towards Wisbech last night and police were called to rescue him.
Police were called at 9.30pm with reports of concern for the man, who was located half an hour later.
Fenland Police tweeted about the incident: “A47 is not the best place for a male to be walking along.
“Removed from the carriageway and taken to Wisbech.”
