A WOMAN in her 80s has been left unable to get around after her mobility scooter was stolen from her March home.
The dark red Sovereign Shoprider with wicker basket was stolen from a home in Grounds Avenue overnight on Wednesday (May 29).
The victim, who is in her 80s, went to bed at 10pm and the scooter was outside in her porch. When she woke up the next morning it was gone.
PCSO Rachael Cheverton said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or if they’re offered this scooter for sale.
“The elderly lady is extremely upset as it’s her only means of getting around.”
