Conservative candidate Chris Boden held onto his seat for the Whittlesey North division.
Cllr Boden took 1,365 votes – more than 1,000 votes ahead of his nearest competitor, Labour’s Steve Jansky.
Cllr Boden said: “I’m aware we face a really great challenge over the next four years; we have finances to get balanced and we’ve got some very difficult decisions to make.
“The greatest issue in Whittlesey North is the Kings Dyke crossing and making sure that it goes ahead. It’s been promised for 40 years so we have to make sure it carries on next year as planned.
“But that’s not the end of the traffic problems - the A605 then needs looking at.”
